A static ISP address is one carrier IP that stays assigned to you until you give it up. Nothing rotates underneath the session, which is the entire point: the site sees the same subscriber line on Monday that it saw three weeks ago.
Why Sessions Break Without One
The failure is always the same shape. A rotating pool hands the browser a new exit halfway through a session, the platform notices the subscriber changed continent between two requests, and it responds the way it is designed to: a fresh device check, an SMS code, sometimes a hold on the account. Nothing in the browser changed, so the logs look clean and the cause is easy to miss. Marketplace sellers hit this first because their sessions are long and their accounts are valuable.
How To Assign Them
Work one identity at a time. Pick the country the account was created in — not the cheapest one on the list, because a German account that suddenly answers from Ohio is the anomaly you were trying to avoid. Bind the address to a single browser profile and keep that profile's cookies, local storage and fonts to itself. Do not put the address behind a rotating gateway afterwards; that quietly undoes what you bought. When the account is retired, retire the address with it rather than recycling it into the next one.

Checking It Is Actually Static
Query your own IP endpoint from inside the profile a few times across a day. The answer should not move. If it does, something upstream is still rotating — usually a system proxy setting or an extension, not the plan itself. Latency in-region normally sits in the 40-90 ms band; if it is far higher, the exit is not in the country the label claims and geo-sensitive pages will notice before you do.

- Count the identities you need to keep alive, not the ones you might create later.

- Keep a spare per market — replacing an address mid-incident is worse than holding one.
